Galina
Galina Lipina has been a dancer her entire life, starting with ballet and ballroom as a child, followed by 10 years of salsa dancing before discovering kizomba in 2012. Since then, she has dedicated herself to mastering and teaching kizomba, semba, and tarraxinha. Galina has taught at festivals and workshops across the U.S., Mexico, and Canada, including the Las Vegas Salsa Congress, Miami Afro-Creole Mayhem Kizomba Festival, and Dance Festival at the Center of the Universe in Seattle. She also won 2nd place in the International Semba Competition in Lisbon, Portugal, in 2015 with Phillyp Chanlatte.
With over 200 hours of teacher training from renowned instructors like Petchu & Vanessa (Angola/Portugal), Afro-Latin Connection (Portugal), and The Fantastic 4 (Portugal), Galina combines her global knowledge with a deep passion for sharing the essence of kizomba. But Galina’s expertise extends beyond dance. As a Certified NeuroChangeSolutions Consultant (trained by Dr. Joe Dispenza), a HeartMath Certified Trainer, and an ICF Professional Certified Coach, she brings unique tools and techniques to her workshops, transforming kizomba into more than just a dance—it becomes a vehicle for personal growth, connection, and stress relief. Her coaching background allows her to break down complex movements and concepts into easy-to-understand techniques that help dancers accelerate their learning. With 15+ years of experience in project management and a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Galina’s ability to systematize and organize knowledge ensures her workshops are well-structured and results-driven. Whether you're looking to master kizomba fundamentals, deepen your connection on the dance floor, or explore the transformational aspects of dance, Galina offers an unparalleled blend of expertise in both movement and mindset. When she’s not dancing, Galina is passionate about personal growth, health mastery, and living in warm, beachside climates. |
